ShareSpaces offers a versatile platform for organizing and presenting various types of content, including documents, PDFs, images, web pages, notes, and drawings. Users can easily pin these items to their digital whiteboards and save each board as a distinct project. This feature is particularly beneficial for assembling research materials, mood boards, or reference collections.

Collaboration is a key aspect of ShareSpaces, allowing users to invite others who are also utilizing the platform to work together on whiteboards across multiple devices. This functionality enables side-by-side collaboration, enhancing the productivity of group projects.

With the Presentation Mode feature, users can effectively present their whiteboards during meetings. Control over what attendees view on their devices allows for a guided exploration of research findings, ideas, or project presentations.

The platform’s collaborative capabilities are further enhanced by its unique multi-screen sharing functionality. Transitioning from individual work to team projects is seamless; simply select team members' names in the sharing dialog or export whiteboards as ShareSpaces project files for distribution via email or AirDrop.

ShareSpaces supports users in gaining a comprehensive view of their projects by allowing whiteboards to extend across multiple devices during meetings. This interactive surface facilitates showing and sharing work while inviting colleagues to collaboratively view collections, take notes, and provide feedback.

Adding elements from other applications has been streamlined with drag-and-drop capabilities. Users can seamlessly pull content from Safari as complete web pages or specific images and text. Files can also be imported from the Files app or FileBrowser, which offers extensive access to remote storage options.

Further enhancing note-taking capabilities, ShareSpaces allows for the addition of colored sticky notes. Users can jot down thoughts or utilize an Apple Pencil for sketches and annotations. All notes are updated in real time during collaborative sessions within the platform.

Conveniently, ShareSpaces automatically saves each whiteboard session, enabling users to resume exactly where they left off. Additionally, there is the option to print whiteboards directly from the application.

Privacy remains under user control in ShareSpaces; whiteboards reside locally on the iPad until the user opts to share them with others in the area. This allows for either private work or collaborative engagement with friends or clients on various projects. For those interested in multi-device screen sharing and the ability to create multiple ShareSpaces projects, a subscription with a free trial option is available.
